Course description

       -          This very short course is designed to give you an introduction to CNC machining.  A three hour session will cover:

        o       3D modeling (SolidWorks)
        o       Tool path generating (MasterCam)
        o       Machining (cutting a complete simple part using a CNC milling machine)

        -          This course is an Option; it is NOT a required for graduation; sign up only if you’re interested
        -          Location    :         Room E-105A (Machine Shop)
        -          Time          :         To be arranged

How to sign up

       Email nguyenhuytu@gmail.com with you Last name, First name and the last 4-digit of your RED ID to sign up.
        You will team up with 2 other students to form a group
        Each group will be scheduled one evening meeting (a Thursday evening from 6-9pm) to come to the machine shop to complete the 3 hour session.
